A Registered Paint Horse was stolen from a farm in Flat Rock Illinois on Friday August 22. It belonged to a 13 year girl who has owned him for 5 years. The horse is the 2008 Crawford County all around 4-H Champion and was scheduled to go to the NBHA World Championship show this fall. This was not a random crime.

The 2008 Mid Rivers Saddle Club’s Fall Classic is fast approaching. The show will be held on September 14th starting at 10:00 am at Therapeutic Horsemanship in Wentzville Mo. This show is wildly popular as we give out Grand Champion ribbons for all of our classes that are 30″ long and boast a 6″ rosette.

We will also be giving all 6 placings rosettes, Grand Champion Sashes to both halter winner, and we will be awarding youth awards throughout out the day.

We will also have a professional photographer coming. She will be setting up a backdrop and taking pictures. You will be able to view your pictures and order that day.

Approved as APHA Equivalent Competition (PAC)

Even though APHA is not officially associated with the Mid Rivers Saddle club, the American Paint Horse Association does want to recognize your efforts on your American Paint Horse. As a result, your accomplishments can be recorded on your registered horse�s official lifetime performance record through PAC.

PAC recognition is open to almost any type of activity or class because MRSC keeps official records on the performance of all horses entered in our shows, including the Benefit Show.
