Who is required to have a sponsorship?
Each horse and rider combination is required to be sponsored in order to be eligible for year end awards. The minimum sponsorship level is $30 per horse and rider combination or $15 per horse and rider combination for leadline and walk-only members.
When do I need to have my membership and sponsorship paid so that my points will qualify for year end awards?
Each rider MUST have pay their membership at or prior to their first show. In addition, each horse and rider combination MUST acquire or pay the required horse and rider combination at or prior to showing at their second show. If the sponsorship is not paid at or before their second show, all points earned at all shows will be lost and will not start to accumulate until it is paid. There will be no exceptions.
Why are horse and rider sponsorships required to qualify for year end awards?
Sponsorships are required for each horse and rider team so that we are able to provide quality year end awards for all of our members. Sponsorships directly support the awarding of cash and prizes for each of our 40 classes.
In addition, horse and rider sponsorships supplement the costs of running each of our 7 shows, including the cost of awards and printing of the forms and show bills. We are able to keep our show costs to a minimum, thanks in part to our horse and rider sponsorships.
Can I transfer my membership if I decide not to use it?
No. Memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual(s) listed on the application.
Can I transfer my sponsorship if I change horses?
No. Sponsorships are non-transferable. If you decide to change horses mid-season for any reason, a new sponsorship will need to be acquired for that horse to qualify for year end awards.
